Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
This policy explains what information AramPOS ("we", "us") collects when you use our point-of-sale service at arampos.com and app.arampos.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@arampos.com.
What we collect
- Account information — the name and email address of the store owner and of each staff account, and a securely hashed password (we never store passwords in readable form).
- Your store's business data — what you enter or create while using the service: products, prices, stock, sales, returns, purchases, expenses, customers and suppliers you record, register counts and settings.
- Purchase information — when you buy a subscription through a marketplace such as JVZoo or WarriorPlus, we receive your name, email, the product bought and transaction references. We never receive or store your card details; the marketplace handles payment.
- Technical information — the device name, browser and operating system of devices signed in to your store, IP addresses and request logs, used for security and troubleshooting.
How we use it
- To provide the service: running your till, syncing your devices, producing your reports.
- To manage your subscription: setting up your store, renewals, overdue reminders and account notices by email.
- To keep the service secure and working: preventing abuse, investigating problems, backups.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or send marketing email. The app does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
Your store's customers
If you record your own customers in AramPOS (for example names, phone numbers or credit balances), you control that information and are responsible for having the right to collect it. We process it only to provide the service to you.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers we need to run AramPOS:
- Amazon Web Services (United States) — hosting, database, backups and transactional email.
- The marketplace you bought from (e.g. JVZoo, WarriorPlus) — for purchase, renewal and refund processing.
We may also disclose information if required by law.
On your devices
So the till can work offline, the app stores a copy of your store's data in your browser's local storage on each signed-in device. Signing out removes the session from that device; clearing the browser's site data removes the stored copy.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your subscription is active. If a store is suspended (for example after non-payment or a refund), its data may be permanently deleted 60 days after suspension. Server backups are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, access is limited to what each staff role allows, and the database is backed up nightly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Your choices
You can view and edit your store's data in the app at any time and export reports to CSV. To request a copy of your data, correction, or deletion of your account, email support@arampos.com.
Children
AramPOS is a business tool and is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be notified by email to store owners.
